We are now just days away from a brand new year. What would a new year be without a New Year’s cake? It would be, well, less yummy.
Here is a cake decorating idea that would be very easy to create to help bring in your new year. You don’t even need a star-shaped pan to do this. Bake a square cake, then trim the edges until the cake is in the shape of a star.
As for decorating, it doesn’t get much simpler than confetti sprinkles. Of course, the confetti is very reminiscent of the confetti that is released in Time’s Square after the ball drops, so no other embellishments are needed.
