This unusual cake decorating idea will delight drummers heading for the alter.  This drum wedding cake was decorated with thin, marbelized, fondant wrapped around sides.  The drum bands are made with fondant painted with silver edible dust.  The brackets are made of pastillage and spaghetti noodles painted with edible silver luster dust.  The drumsticks are actual drumsticks that were dusted with gold edible luster dust.  The tags are pastillag that were painted gold.  The letters on the tags were piped with black colored royal icing.
