Cake Decorating Ideas

Too often, parents spend far too much time wondering over children’s birthday cake ideas for upcoming birthdays.  Want to make this process much, much easier?  All you need to do is ask your child what type of cake she wants!

The answer might surprise you.  This is especially true if you already have a theme chosen for the party.  Perhaps your daughter said she wanted a Dora-themed party.  That does not mean she wants a Dora cake, too.  If she said she wants a Disney Fairies birthday cake to go with the Dora party, then go with it.  It’s her day.

The point is, do not overlook the one person who wants the cake more than any other person at the party: the birthday boy or girl.  When you involve the child having the party, then coming up with ideas for a cake becomes a whole lot easier.
