Yummm. These cupcake decorating ideas look scrumpscious! You can make your own Christmas tree cupcakes by baking any kind of cupcake and topping them with swirls of green frosting.

Decorate your "trees" with edible silver decorations, or red and green sprinkles. You can even top each tree with a gum drop or swirly mint. You might want to remove them from the baking pan before you decorate them, though. I wonder if these looked as good after they were removed.

This is the most unique Christmas tree cake I've seen. Here is what the creator of this cake decorating idea said about the cake, "Got bored one night and wanted to make a cake that in no way shape or form resembled a traditional round or square cake. Several hours later...alas, a Christmas tree. In July. How appropriate, no? Vanilla bean with homemade raspberry/buttercream preserves. When I say homemade, I mean, my mother and I made raspberry preserves from raspberries collected on a camping trip in Northern Arizona. The cake itself was carved to form a vague Christmas tree shape. Homemade fondant was cut and hand applied, and pearl accents were applied to mimic ornaments."

Wow! This is from someone who was bored? I'd love to see an inspired creation, as this is pretty good!

This cake decorating idea will require a few small figurines. You can create this Christmas cake by covering it in powdered sugar (for snow), and then decorating it with reindeer and people. A Santa figure would be great, if you have one.
