Alright, I admit it. This isn’t really a snow cake. But, I couldn’t resist, as this is January, and snow is very common during this month.
Seems to me like this is a cake made by Mother Nature herself. It looks perfectly edible to me 
If you wanted to create your own snow cake, one that you can eat (although you could eat this kind, too, it just wouldn’t taste as sweet and yummy), you could do so by baking a square or rectangular cake, then shaving the edges so they are gently sloped, as seen in the image below.
You would then cover the cake in white frosting. This would quite possibly be the simplest cake decorating idea ever!
